What to expect
We grow chemical free produce both for ourselves and for our customers. We start out the season with tomatoes, cucumbers, and early greens, beets, onions grown in the ground within a greenhouse. We also will start getting produce from our 16 acres of the garden as soon as the weather allows.
Our 1/2 bushel boxes will start out with tomatoes and cucumbers and other crops from the greenhouse. As the season progresses, however, we will have a wide arrangement of crops. Which include tomatoes, cucumbers, cherry tomatoes, lettuce, swiss chard, kale, candy onions, red onions, bell peppers, hot peppers, sweet peppers, zucchini, summer squash, patty pan squash, leeks, garlic, beans, beets, broccoli, cauliflower,cabbage, carrots, radishes, eggplant, kohlrabi, peas, potatoes, Brussel sprouts, corn, watermelon, cantaloupe, a wide array of winter squash, pumpkins, and more.
When it starts
We start June 6 and go for 17 weeks and this time may be extended if desired and weather permits. We will typically run 8 plus items per week in half bushel box, with roughly 2/3 of the season the box being overfilled.
